Bristol Historical Association

This branch of  the History Association arranges a varied programme of talks, events and walks that connect with Bristol’s history.

Some of our events are deliberately aimed at school students. We aim to include topics that represent all types of history and take into account the latest research and controversies.

Talks are generally held on Wednesdays at 7:30 in the lecture theatre BH05 in the Humanities area at the University of Bristol which can be accessed through the front of 7 Woodland Road.  Follow the green and yellow arrows.
